Disneyland!! (For the first time!)

For as long as I can remember knowing the word ‘Disney’ I have wanted to visit Disneyland/world. The majority of my childhood was spent begging my parents to take me to Disney World Orlando to fulfil my dream of seeingΒ that castle. The castle that bookended most of my dreams. Unfortunately that never happened. Until June this year.

It may have taken me almost 20 years but it finally happened. I still haven’t quite made it to America yet but I’ve found my way to aΒ Disney site – Paris. In June 2017 I spent a magical week in Disneyland Paris and I’m going to share it with you. Although I would’ve loved to visit and experience the magic as a child, I still found it to be everything I’ve ever dreamed and more. For those of you who, like me, are waiting to visit Disney for the first ever time as an ‘adult’ (questionable term at best πŸ˜‰) hopefully this will put you at ease.

I’m back! Spring cleaning…

Public service announcement: I have crawled from my state of hibernation and I’m coming back into the social media sphere!

The last few months have been hectic… In the space of two weeks I moved house, changed jobs and at the same time was juggling my last few weeks of exams at uni. The second that was over, I went on a well deserved break to Paris (really I spent 95% of my time at Disneyland and only around 12 hours in central Paris πŸ˜‚) and haven’t really sat down for a break since.

However, you’ll be pleased to know that I am now back and ready to hit the ground running. I have neglected this blog so much this year but as I’m back writing, it’s about time I put the effort in.

I’m going to start including a lot more content which I hope you’ll all enjoy. This will include my travels, university journey and dealing with life in London all whilst planning some kind of future in the turbulent world we live in.Β Books, theatre, films and tv shows will of course continue to be my focus as they are the key to maintaining sanity in 2017. I’m convinced imagination is key to our survival.

With that said, let’s get this show on the road!
